Dr. Bell grew up in southern New Jersey. His entire educational experience occurred in an approximate 25 mile radius in the greater Philadelphia area. After graduating from Burlington city high school, he attended Rider University where he received a degree in biology. He then attended Temple University School of Pharmacy. Upon receiving his degree he worked as a pharmacist in research with Merck, Sharp, and Dohme, and as a retail pharmacist with Thrift Drug Company. After working as a pharmacist for several years, he attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

 

He continued to work as a pharmacist throughout medical school. After graduating from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, he moved to Phoenix Arizona, where he did his internship and residency at Phoenix General Hospital. As a resident, Dr. Bell experienced government medicine as he worked at the Indian Hospital in Phoenix and the VA Medical Centers in Phoenix and Prescott Arizona. He opened a solo practice, Arizona Internal Medical Services, before becoming a full-time hospitalist. He left the greater Phoenix area and practiced in northern Arizona for approximately six years, working at both Flagstaff Medical Center and Verde Valley Medical Center. He then transitioned and became a medical informaticist working with Catholic Healthcare West based in Phoenix Arizona. After two years, he then took on a position as a medical informaticist with HCA based in Nashville Tennessee. Dr. Bell worked full-time for HCA from 2010 through March 2020. He still currently works as a consultant for CereCore, a subsidiary of HCA. And he has also served as a medical consultant for Meditech a medical software company since 2016. In 2020, Dr. Bell began doing stem cell work at the Biologix Center in Franklin,Tennessee. In January 2021 he and his wife, Tommy, opened a private clinic, Bell Wellness Care, PLLC also in Franklin, Tennessee. The clinic provides holistic preventative care with the focus on empowering individuals to not only manage their medical care, but to also address their spirituality and life issues. With Dr. Bell, as physician and Tammy as the health coach, the goal is to collaborate with individuals and identify their bio -individuality in managing their care. In fact, the individuals they treat are referred to as collaborators as opposed to clients or patients.

 

The focus of the practice is to offer their collaborators options outside of the conventional medical approach. This includes an extensive interview with the individuals to determine nutritional needs, activity needs, and addressing other aspects of their life situation as warranted. Treatment options include traditional osteopathic techniques, intravenous, therapies, evaluation of their metabolic status, and determination of nutritional needs. Part of the ongoing search for alternatives/treatment options led to an association with Dr. Jess Bell.  Dr. Charles Bell learned of Dr. Jess Bell, by way of a podcast that was brought to his attention by his wife Tommy in August 2021. This led to the introduction of energetics healing by Dr. Jess Bell and they subsequently developed a partnership and started the Centers for Energetics Healing with Claire Garner and Tammy Bell.

 

Dr. Bell’s interest outside of medicine includes his faith, family, friends and his love of music. He also enjoys cooking and photography.
